Salman Khan to play a double role in Sooraj Barjatya's film

Salman Khan and Sooraj Barjatya are all set to revive the old romantic magic all over again. Apparently, Sooraj has been writing the script for the past couple of years now. Now the big news is that Salman Khan will be playing a double role in the movie. Sajid Nadiadwala's 'Judwaa' is the only movie till now where Khan has played double role in his 25 year long career.

Barjatya and Khan have worked together in 3 movies - 'Maine Pyaar Kiyar', 'Hum Aapke Hain Kaun' and 'Hum Saath Saath Hain'. While 'Maine Pyaar Kiya' and 'Hum Aapke Hain Kaun' are the biggest hits of 80s and 90s decades respectively, 'Hum Saath Saath Hain' turned out to be the highest grosser of 1999. Sooraj then made 'Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon' with Hrithik Roshan, Abhishek Bachchan and Kareena Kapoor , which failed to connect with the audience. His last directorial venture was 'Vivah' with Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Rao. Made on a small budget, 'Vivah' performed well at the box-office.

As far as the leading lady of the movie is concerned, there are several names which are being considered. Sooraj's heroine has always been a typical Indian family girl like Suman(Bhagyashree) of 'Maine Pyaar Kiya' and Nisha(Madhuri Dixit) of 'Hum Aapke Hain Kaun'. Topping the list is Diana Penty of 'Cocktail' fame who is currently the number one choice of the makers. Apparently, Diana was also considered forSalman's next release 'Mental'. The other names that are being seriously considered are Anushka Sharma and Ileana D'Cruz.
