Sajid Khan is all set to direct 'Humshakal' for Vashu Bhagnani's productions. The film will have three leading ladies - Tamannah of Himmatwala fame, Esha Gupta of Jannat2, Raaz3 fame and the third lady is yet to be decided. Earlier, there were reports that Jacqueline has been finalized to play one of the female lead but now she has been replaced by Esha. This indicates a definite change of equation in the relationship between Khan and Fernandez.The movie already has Saif Ali Khan as the main lead in a triple role and Ritesh Deshmukh in a supporting role. Amitabh Bachchan has also agreed to play a pivotal role.
Earlier, it was rumored that this story will be on the lines of Salman Khan's 'Judwaa' or Gulzar's 'Angoor' but Sajid has denied all the rumors. This will be an action-comedy directed in typical Sajid Khan style. The film will start in July and Sajid has already declared that this will be the biggest grosser for Saif. Big B and Saif have worked together earlier in movies like 'Eklavya' and 'Aarakshan'. Meanwhile, Sajid's latest release 'Himmatwala' fell flat at the box-office. The film had put up some disappointing numbers at the ticket window and halted the super successful run of Sajid Khan, who had 3 back to back hits in Heyy Babby, Housefull and Housefull 2. Ritesh Deshmukh is one star who has worked in all the five movies of Sajid Khan till now.
