"Kriti's love story with Tiger is very relevant" - Sabbir Khan

While a lot has been said and written about Tiger Shroff's debut with 'Heropanti', the one who is also expected to make a splashing impression on her big screen arrival is the film's female lead. A popular model, Kriti Sanon would soon be making her screen debut opposite Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu in '1 - Nenokkadine'.

While deciding to make her Hindi film debut with the production house Nadiadwala Grandson, Kriti is now gearing up for her love story opposite Tiger which would be a strong thread trying together 'Heropanti'.

"Kriti is playing someone who is at the crossroads in life and is a little torn. She comes from a respectful and dignified family while being a young independent girl. Her characterization reflects what us happening in today's India. Her love story is very relevant to today's times", elaborates Sabbir, Director 'Heropanti'.

On being asked about comparisons between 'Heropanti' and Jackie Shroff's 'Hero', Sabbir says, "See, in a broad stroke you could possibly compare the genres and that too if you have to necessarily box it. However the two stories are so drastically different. In fact it is very
difficult to draw any comparisons whatsoever."

While one could well be expecting a high octane drama in the offering with a strong love story element as well as action forming a part of 'Heropanti', the film is not bereft of humour.

"While being a romantic action film, 'Heropanti' has a lot of inherent humour as well. I have always believed in bringing all around entertainment for an entire family where everyone across age groups can come together and enjoy. 'Heropanti' would be no different. It may be coming on Valentines but it is not just for young ones in love; it is for everyone who has ever been in love," promises Sajid before signing off.
