100 years of Indian cinema has given us many hit pairs who have set the stage ablaze with their sizzling chemistry. These co-actors have set a trademark in Bollywood. The blockbuster Jodis are looked up with utmost approbation and obeisance. Lets have a look at Bollywood's most sought after couple who have created history together.
1. Raj Kapoor-Nargis : Nargis and Raj Kapoor portray the history of Bollywood together. After so many decades going, still this onscreen the couple that will be remembered best for its amazing chemistry. From their maiden movie ‘Aag’ to ‘Barsaat’, ‘Awara’ and ‘Shree 420’, they mesmerized the audience with their sizzling chemistry. During the eight years from 1948 to 1956, they featured together in sixteen movies escalating the success they enjoyed on screen. They are truly remembered as the Best Onscreen Couple and no-one can replace them ever.
2. Amitabh-Rekha : The megastar of his time and she was the most enigmatic,indecipherable beauty of the silver screen. The duo have always created magic onscreen. Their rumored extra-marital affair added fuel to fire and the films would reflect their alleged relationship. With blockbuster films like 'Silsila', 'Chashme Buddoor', 'Mukaddar Ka Sikandar' and 'Namak Haraam', this couple won millions of hearts. The chemistry between the two was praised by all, making them one of the most passionate couples of all times.
3. Shahrukh Kajol : The first film of 90s which changed the concept of love and its charm is still known to be Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. Shahrukh and Kajol together make a perfect couple till date. The two, when seen together for any event, look marvelous and spectacular. 4. Salman-Aishwarya : The couple made just won film together, fell in love, then drifted apart and there was no ore of Salman and Aishwarya together. 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam' is an iconic film that comes as one of the best performance of both the lead actors. Their chemistry and moreover their off-screen love reflected in the film more and this took the film to pinnacle. Sadly, they couldn't be seen together as they had a not-so-good breakup. 5. Ranbir-Deepika : They came close, went apart and again came closer and rocked the B-Town. Known to be today's hottest couple, Ranbir and Deepika gave their first film together with 'Bachna Ae Haseeno'. The film wasn't a great success but the couple clicked audiences' and critics' mind. This real life couple was in a long term relationship. However, things couldn't work out between the two. And both had a break-up. They were a couple who parted ways but mended their relationship, and later, reunited as friends. Now, with a 100Cr blockbuster 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani', the two have rocked together. Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone compliment each other. Directors are lined up to take both of them as lead pairs in their films.
