Average Opening Weekend for Ghanchakkar

The opening weekend collections of Emraan Hashmi and Vidya Balan starrer ' Ghanchakkar' are not impressive at all. The film had no growth at all even on Sunday which is a holiday. The first weekend collections are 22.3 Crore. The daily breakdown is :
  • Friday : 7.20 Crore
  • Saturday: 7.30 Crore
  • Sunday : 7.80 Crore
The way Ghanchakkar performed in the opening weekend, it looks like the film will witness huge drops in the week days. The lifetime of Ghanchakkar will be below average.
The budget of the movie is approximately 20 crore and the film has already earned more than the budget in the opening weekend from the domestic market itself. So there will be no loses for the producers but seems like not big profits too.

    Good film, the second half could have been better but overall the ending was great and the film is a great watch.
