As expected, Ghanchakkar failed to pick up the collections on Saturday. The film collected 7.3 Crore on Day 2 which is similar to day one as Friday the opening day collected 7.2 crore. This shows that after poor critic reviews, the audience response is also average.
No heavy jump is expected today on Sunday too. The film will collect around 8-9 crore today which will take the first weekend collections of Ghanchakkar to around 22-23 crore which is an average opening. The film might face huge drops in the weekdays. Overall, at this stage, a healthy lifetime is not expected at all.
It seems like Emraan Hashmi is experiencing different things. He enjoys a massive fan following in the mass areas but his last film " Ek Thi Daayan " and the current one "Ghanchakkar " both are class movies and Emraan is trying to expand his fan following. So far, he has failed to create his star power in the class areas but it is good to experience different things and we wish Emraan Best Of Luck for his upcoming projects.
