Salman Khan’s blockbuster and multiple record-breaking bodyguard has been voted as the most favourite action film of 2011 in a new poll by ApunKaChoice.
Take a bow, Salman Khan. For despite some good action films that the year 2011 offered us, it is Bodyguard, slammed by the critics as a harebrained actioner, that emerges triumphant in our new poll on the action flicks of the year.
There were tough contenders like Don 2, Singham, Force and Ra.One to emerge as the favourites. If Singham idolized brute force and muscle power, Ra.One was an attempt at making action as slick as it gets. And then there was John Abraham, too, giving action a shot with Force.
We got 5485 votes and 47 percent of them were in favour of Bodyguard being their favourite action film of the year.
The movie had some raw action by Salman Khan. With sheer fist power, Salman Khan was shown crushing the jaws, tearing through ribs, and splintering the shins.
